A vibrant and unconventional expression of Pinot Noir from the windswept Petaluma Gap.
The 2022 Obra Magna was crafted using whole clusters and carbonic maceration, a technique that emphasizes aromatic intensity, freshness and purity of fruit. The result is a lively Pinot Noir with aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry and raspberry, layered with delicate floral notes, spice and a subtle earthy character.
The palate is bright, silky and energetic, with fine tannins and refreshing acidity carrying the wine toward a long, savory finish. Expressive and approachable, yet complex enough to unfold with time in the glass.
Serve slightly cool and allow the wine a few minutes to open before drinking.
